We at iChef have been experimenting with a lot of food recipes, however we thought it would be something different to get you a glimpse into something that is refreshing to drink too.
“Banana and Kiwi Shake has to one of the most exotic shakes that I have tried in recent days. I love to drink shakes or smoothies for my breakfast. I think it’s a fantastic way to start your day in a healthy and nutritious way by relishing chilled shakes, smoothies. I am always on a look out for new flavors and try to make a new version of shakes almost everyday. This time, I added kiwi in my regular banana shake and the result was pretty good. Banana and Kiwi Shake at first may sound like a weird recipe but I trusted my instincts and prepared it! The slight tang from Kiwi and sweet, earthy flavours of banana blended well together. There is no need to add sugar in the shake if the bananas are sweet enough. You can also try adding honey to make it healthier. Banana and Kiwi Shake is very quick and easy to make and all you have to do is bring together the ingredients in a blender and in less than five minutes, you have a healthy glass full of Banana and Kiwi Shake ready to kick start your day. If you do not like kiwi then you could use strawberries and make Banana and Strawberry Milkshake instead!
How to make?
TOTAL TIME: 10 mins
- Milk – 2 cups ( chilled )
- Banana – 2
- Kiwi – 2 ( You can also use kiwi crush, if fresh kiwi is not available )
- Sugar to taste
- Ice cubes ( optional )
- Remove the peel of banana and kiwi and cut them into small pieces.
- Blend banana and kiwi with little milk in a blender till smooth.
- Add the remaining milk and sugar.
- Blend well.
- Pour in the glasses.
- Add ice cubes if you want.
- Serve immediately.
