Arugula salad

In this recipe, we combined the two complementary flavours of dried cranberries and feta cheese, with the earthiness of spinach and arugula. To get a satisfying crunch with each bite, we have added caramelized walnuts and sunflower seeds. Toss this up in some balsamic, and you know you’ve got a sure-shot winner in your hands.



  • arugula leaves spinach walnuts
  • orange
  • balsamic vinegar
  • dried cranberries feta cheese sesame seeds
  • sunflower seeds
  • olive oil

Prepare the ingredients:
Wash the arugula leaves and spinach de-stem the arugula leaves and spinach (break the leaves from the stem).

Mix in the dressing:
In a large mixing bowl add the spinach and arugula. Toss in olive oil and add salt to taste. Add the balsamic vinegar and toss again.

Add orange and feta cheese:
Peel the orange, removing the inner white skin separating the pods as well. Add the orange to the salad. Crumble the feta cheese and sprinkle over the salad.

Plate your dish:
Garnish with sunflower seeds, walnuts, cranberries and sesame seeds. Devour!
